Project ONE at University of Delaware

















STUDENTS INVITED TO ONE:United to Help Make Poverty History event February 28February 12, 2009 – On Saturday, February 28, 2009, the StUDent Government Association of the University of Delaware is hosting ONE: United to Help Make Poverty History. The event is co-sponsored by student organizations UDress, SCPAB, CPAB, HAVEN, Inter Fraternity Council, Latino & Multi-Ethnic Greek Council, and Greek Council.

ONE: United to Help Make Poverty History will be held in the Trabant Multipurpose Rooms beginning at 7 p.m. The event supports the ONE Campaign, a worldwide movement that seeks to raise public awareness about poverty, hunger, and disease. ONE is free of charge, but interested attendees are asked to pick up free tickets at the UD Box Office between Monday, February 23, and Friday, February 27. Ticket holders will be granted special VIP seating the night of the event. Additional tickets will be available at the door for those who did not pick up an earlier VIP pass. All participants are encouraged to make a donation upon entry to help support the cause.
Attendees are asked to wear fashionable, black and white attire. At the end of the evening, Macy’s gift cards will be awarded to the two best dressed students. In addition to the best-dressed competition, all attendees are eligible to win one of many raffle prizes given throughout the event.
